Tech company logo evolutions
I've got no idea whether it's something typical to geeks, but I love to read about how it all started for today's big technology brands. Even their original logos have great stories to tell.
Take Adobe, for example. It's first logo (1982) was designed by founder John Warnocks wife. She did a pretty good job actually, compared to what Apple came up with in 1976. The Apple drawing shows a picture of Isaac Newton under an apple tree. For obvious reasons, it was replaced soon after. While Apples original logo only looks like it was designed a hundred years ago, Nokias first logo actually dates from 1865. Nokia was far from a phone manufacturer back then and mainly focused on wood/paper products.

A lot more logos and stories to be found right here.
