- Twistory launched during Mobile WebCamp (four comments)
Posted on 27 April 2008 in Twistory, Twitter, Mobile Webcamp, Mobilewebcamphasselt and Barcamp
Yesterday was Mobile WebCamp Hasselt, Belgium's very first mobile-only barcamp edition. To me, barcamps really are one of the most inspiring conferences to go to, and so was this edition. Kirsten and Dorien really did a great job setting it all up. I took the opportunity to present (check the presentation) a new project I've been working on .. read more - Mobile WebCamp presentation (one comment)

Here's the Twistory presentation I gave during Mobile WebCamp Hasselt yesterday. Longer post following shortly ... - Use Twitter to generate high qualified leads (four comments)

Last week Andrew Baron created quite some buzz when he decided to put his Twitter account up for sale on Ebay. While it sure was a great PR stunt, earning money by selling your Twitter account probably isn't as easy as it may sound. After all, all those Twitter friends are following you (the first owner) as a person, not your Twitter account (so .. read more - Sponsor my Wickd t-shirt during Mobile WebCamp
Posted on 21 April 2008 in Wickd, Mobile, Event, T-shirt and Shotcode
A few weeks ago I received a Wickd ShotCode t-shirt to try out. While I loved the idea of combining clothing with online technology, I haven't really found a suitable situation to test it. Enter Mobile WebCamp. 120 mobile minds gathering to talk about mobile, I guess there's just no better testing environment. And you can share in the wealth: .. read more - A thousand participants can't be wrong

Allright, iphone-winnen.be has reached the magical number of a thousand contest participants. After only two months of being online, I guess it's fair to say that this is a pretty good result. Compared to last month, a lot of people (over 35%) still expect a Belgian iPhone launch in May. Most analists however expect a 3G iPhone launch in June. .. read more - Recipe for viral videos
Posted on 14 April 2008 in Viral, Youtube and Video
At some point during last week's Boondoggle blog launch, we were talking about the secret recipe - if any - for viral videos. I can't really remember who raised the topic, but I do recall we didn't agree upon one magical solution. I got reminded of the discussion while I was just watching the "how to make viral videos" video (check below), based .. read more - Look who we met while driving home (four comments)

So we went to see the No Use For A Name show at Hof Ter Lo yesterday and it was great (check YouTube). Mainly old songs and some tracks from the brand new Feel good record of the year. Anyway, that's not wat I was going to write about. While driving back home, we stopped at Q8 Ranst for a coffee. Now guess who was shopping there too: über-cel .. read more - Boondoggle b-side: yes, but ... (two comments)
Posted on 9 April 2008 in Boondoggle, Blog and Event
I just returned from the Boondoggle wine & dine, a.k.a. the Boondoggle blog (re)launch party. Let's put things straight: if you're launching a blog, this is the way to go. Nice location, good food and interesting people. Obviously, that was only of minor importance, as the redesigned blog launch was the real deal. Once again the Boondoggle boys .. read more - I just spent 10 seconds of my life figuring out this URL (five comments)
Posted on 7 April 2008 in Url, Usability and Humor
Just found this poster in my girlfriends' student house. I know URL's are totally out (at least in Japan) and it sure isn't all too easy to come up with another catchy domain name for each and every campaign, but aleensaandaglenzengedacht.be (everthoughtofdailylenses) is one of the worst examples I've seen so far. By the way, URL fans should .. read more - The SEO Rapper

The Poetic Prophet (AKA The SEO Rapper) is back with another marketing rap. This time he describes how web standards and proper design can affect the ranking and conversion of pages on your site.I bet Bart is a fan already ...
