I love Highrise and use it all the time, both at work and for my freelance business. One thing that bothers me however is the "plain text only" approach: Highrise doesn't support any markup methods (Textile, Markdown, ...) at all and it doesn't look like 37signals is planning to do so any time soon (in fact, they're considering to remove the cur .. read more - So where's everyone when Twitter is down? Twitter is down again and I truly hate that. Not just because a broken Twitter means Twistory doesn't work either (now that's the real reason why Twitter mashups shouldn't have a business plan: they're not reliable businesses anyway). Since the Twistory launch exactly three weeks ago, I've been working on bugs and improvements. @niggler (who happens to work with Nielsen) posted a tweet pointing to an interesting press release this afternoon about Nielsen TotalWeb. Basically TotalWeb integrates data from both Nielsen Mobile and Nielsen Online to show the unique audience for more than 200 leading (US) websites. That's pretty interesting, and so are the results. We already had the devices, applications and data plans, and soon we'll have the users as well. These For Dummies books may prove all too easy or even plain silly, but that's basicly because they're not written to be read by early adopters.
