Mobile Monday Belgium
Dorien invited me to the Mobile Monday Belgium kickoff meeting yesterday in some very chique Brussels hotel. Basically the very first Belgian Mobile Monday - which of course will be open to anyone - will be held on November 17. Further info on speakers, venue, ... will be communicated sometime soon (keep an eye on MobileMonday.be for that). Judging from yesterday's meeting and attendees though, it's going to be something you do not want to miss.
On a sidenote, I learned that the infamous De Redactie news portal is now available as a mobile site as well. It was launched yesterday in beta mode and actually looks great. iPhone users are treated particularly well: there's the iPhone optimised version of the mobile site (using Mobixx technology) and a special iPhone version as well.
