Three weeks off: the results
I just switched off my Out of office reply, officially marking the end of my holidays. To make sure I wasn't going to waste those three weeks watching TV or playing FarmVille, I created a public to do list and posted it to this blog. Here's the final results:
spend some time hiking in the Mala Fatra and High Tatras=> That was really the easiest to do item. We spent a lovely time hiking in Slovakia.finish Twistory 2.0 mockups and slices (before we're leaving for Slovakia actually)=> the (old) Twistory (and lifestream backups in general) scored quite some attention the last few weeks. Twistory 2 shouldn't take too long anymore.catch up on a whole pile of magazines(might even read a book) => done- finish a client project (already
65%85% done though) meet with some very cool peoplelaunch project monorail (think I'm at 40% somewhere)=> monorail is ready to go live, I'm still undecided on the best way to launch it though.start(and launch!) project Loop together with @junkiesxl (that's going to be a really tough one) => not ready to lauch yet (in fact it will probably take another few weeks before we can). Based on people's reactions so far though, I'm pretty confident we're doing the right thing.- redesign this very blog (launching as well would be too ambitious I'm afraid) => not much of a success yet (I actually deleted my initial mockups today as I no longer liked them). I've got some cool ideas though, just need to bring them into practice somehow.
All in all, I guess I did pretty well. I'll post more details about the different projects shortly.
