Redesigning this blog

So I was redesigning this blog the last few weeks. I wanted the design to support shorter posts, to be easier to read and navigate. Until I realised I wasn't really designing a blog, rather a microblogging kind of tool. I've noticed over the last few months (you probably did so too) that I was blogging less, while sharing lots of content on Twitter, Delicious and Flickr.

Real time just works pretty well for me, even though I'm not always able to squeeze my thoughts into 140 characters. That's why I decided to start a little Posterous experiment today. I registered at Posterous over a year ago already, but never really found a way to fit it into my online life. No more excuses now (at least for the next two weeks): I'll be evaluating Posterous and you can witness (if you want, of course ;-)).

Don't run away from here though, this domain continues to be my online "hub" and I'm posting some pretty cool news about a number of projects I'm currently working on somewhere the next few days.
